I want to see the world!

OK, so I've been thinking about next sumer a bit. I know it's early, but I want to go somewhere. And I like to plan ahead, so that I can save up money for it. My current options are:

- interrailing in the UK & Ireland
- walking in Wales
- walking in Scotland

There are probably a lot of other fun things a girl can do on her own. Any input?

You could go hiking in the Sonoran desert! ;)

I wish I could do the US, but it's not something I can do budget wise these days. Just bought myself a flat. Hence the cheap options. ;-)

Come to Seattle! ;)
On a more serious note, if I were you, I'd totally do UK/Ireland. I sooooo want to visit Ireland one of these days!

Ireland is really nice. Would love to see even more of it, for sure!

Oh God, Paris. And Berlin. And Dubrovnik, for something different. And I could easily spend an entire month in Oxford.

(I mostly do city-hopping, as I'm not much for the countryside. It should be said, however, that Croatia is a stunningly beautiful country.)

It depends a bit upon what sort of things you like to do?

Paris is OK, but there are places in France I'd rather go. ;-) And as for Berlin... I was there about 1 1/2 year ago, and wasn't impressed. At all. I especially found it tricky to try to explain my food intolerances when I don't speak a word German. I was so tired after just a couple of days all I really wanted was to go back home. :-(

I like different sort of things, as long as it doesn't include sunbathing. ;-) I like to do things I'm fine with alone, as well I prefer places I know I can get by fine even though there's certain food I cant eat.

I would also prefer it to be low budget. Getting places from Hamerfest is expensive. :-(
